Collages

I primarily worked in mixed media collage in my art school years of 2006 - 2008. Materials include vintage periodicals, bible pages, scrapbook stickers, gold leaf, and oil pastel.

Smaller works play with religious symbols, sometimes reverently and sometimes irreverently. They’re mostly ditties and sketches.

Larger figurative works are representations of close friends and family. They reflect the vitality and competing forces that comprises each individual and their cultural context.
