DANNY HOUK
Bio

I’m Danny Houk and I practice sculpture, drawing, and comics about transactional relationships, power imbalances, American evangelicalism, and childhood, My ideas drive the medium and creative process, hence the interdisciplinary approach throughout my work. I value craft, vulnerability, and humor.
Some of my artistic influences are Wayne White, Louise Nevelson, Bruce Naumann, Lynda Barry, Walton Ford, Tom Sachs, and Jim Woodring.
